SUNDROP FRUIT JUICES SDN BHD has been manufacturing drinks in Sarawak since 1957. Today in terms of product turnover, we are the largest local beverage manufacturer in East Malaysia. Sundrop is a registered trademark and is a Malaysian brand.

The company specializes in manufacturing of non-carbonated drinks in aluminium cans. Our products are tailored to give a Malaysian flavour. Our workforce is 100% Malaysian.

The drinks are under the Sundrop brand. The Sundrop drinks are Halal certified meeting the standards of JAKIM (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia). Locally Sundrop drinks are distributed in the major towns of Sarawak, Sabah, Labuan and Peninsular Malaysia. Sundrop drinks are exported to Australia, Brunei and Indonesia

In these regions Sundrop drinks are available in hotels and resorts, supermarkets, mini-markets and sundry shops, universities and schools, industrial canteens as well as coffee shops and restaurants. Our customers include Giant Hypermarket, Petronas Mesra convenience stores, Mydin Wholesale and Supermarket and 7-11 convenience stores.

Sundrop Fruit Juices Sdn Bhd is also very innovative in its products.

  • Since 1990, Sundrop Orange Juice in cans is a market leader in East Malaysia.
  • In 1991, the company was the first to manufacture beverage in aluminum 2-piece can, which is recyclable.
  • In 1994, it became the first Malaysian company to manufacture ready-to-drink milk coffee in cans. The milk coffee in cans is manufactured from real coffee beans and our coffee drink is a brand leader in East Malaysia.
  • In 1997 the company was the first to manufacture 100% local content lime juice, extracted from locally grown lime. This gives a better product and the project is actively encouraged by the Agriculture Department of Malaysia
  • In 2003, the company developed Tea with Milk (Teh Tarik) in cans, being the first Malaysian company to do so.
  • In 2004, the company jointly developed and implemented a cleaner technology project with SIRIM. Today, we are officially a SIRIM Cleaner Production Demonstration project.
  • In 2007, the company manufactured fresh brewed liquid concentrates in a new packaging design, the Bag-In-Box. Liquid concentrates such as coffee, orange juice, lime, sour plum, ice lemon tea,green tea and chrysanthemum tea are being launched into the local and international markets.
